No major problems have occurred since be has been with the City. <br />One of the difficulties is that Rice Creek Watershed District does not <br />visually review plans until the construction plans are available and <br />this could be several rronths after any approval by the City. <br />Mr. Rye stated the worst case scenario 'M:lUld be to approve lots that <br />were unable to be built on. <br />Mr. Carlson thought the reccmnendation, to have staff first review <br />plans, then all other agencies and finally the Planning Crnmission <br />before they are submitted to the City Council, was a gocd idea. <br />Mr. Fritsinger stated the Water Management Plan identifies Rice Creek <br />Watershed District as the agent to handle wetlands; although, the City <br />has never formalized this plan. Mr. Fritsinger suggested this <br />formalization take place in the near future. <br />C01JNCIL REPORI' . <br />Councilmember Hicks stated the Council agendas have been relati vel y <br />light, the final TCI\AP rreeting is Thursday. This is the major issue the <br />Coilllcil has been working on lately. <br />Councilmember Hicks stated the business retention surveys have been se.."1t <br />and returned. A Sl.lITI1\3IY is in the process and no major objections f=n <br />the business carmunity have been expressed. <br />Mr. Erickson asked about the potential to change the speed limits and <br />speed limit hours on Lake Johanna. <br />Councilmember Hicks stated Coilllcil is open to discussions, and to date, <br />limited discussions have been held. COilllcilrrember Probst raised the <br />question at the worksession and Coilllcilmember Probst would lock into the <br />issues. <br />Chair Winiecki stated the May rreeting will be Scott Petersen's last <br />meeting.
