Consent Calendar <br /> a. staff received a letter from Diane Akilli requesting an <br /> appointment to the Human Rights Commission. I have enclosed a <br /> copy of this request. Ms. Akilli has spoken to Barbara Younoszai <br /> and staff has confirmed that Barbara is acceptable to appoint Ms. <br /> . Akilli to this commission. Council Liaison Beverly Aplikowski has <br /> yet to be =nsulted, as she has been out of town. <br /> b. Attached to this memo is a copy of a letter from the Volunteers of <br /> America requesting that Arden Hills proclaim March 6 - 13 as <br /> "Volunteer of America Week". <br /> c. 'll1e Arden Hills/Shoreview/TCAAP Sanitary Sewer agreement is in <br /> final draft form. You will recall that this is for the water <br /> which has been used to decontaminate at the north errl of the TCMP <br /> property . A complete copy is available at city Hall if you would <br /> like a =py. The primry points of =ncern to Arden Hills are 1) <br /> No =sts attriblted to Arden Hills; 2) Any future Arden Hills <br /> =nnection will be used rather than Shoreview; 3) Arden Hills is <br /> named as an additional insured to the =ntractor policy, and <br /> provided a copy of the performance bond; 4) Sufficient insurances <br /> in place; 5) 30 days notice of termination of agreement; 6) <br /> Arden Hills inspection allCMed; and 7) Shoreview reports to Arden <br /> Hills regarding usage. <br /> d. Approve List of Claims/Payroll: staff will =ntinue the practice <br /> of providing =unentary on each claim request item. <br /> III. Unfinished and New Business <br /> a. Action requested from city of Red Wing - see copy of letter I <br /> informational packet and sample resolution of support outlining <br /> the legislative approval of NSP's dry-cask storage of spent <br /> nuclear fuel. <br /> b. I have enclosed. a proposed. letter regarding retrocession. <br /> . Discussion could take place at this time if Council would wish to <br /> discuss this issue. <br />
