(Ora ~ Uo ~ <br />198, 1(, C 27 (7) <br /> <br />DIVISION 5. CATS <br /> <br />SECTION 5-70. CATS: SPECIAL PROVISIONS. It is unlawful to <br />own or posses any cat which destroys, damaqes, or defiles property <br />or that created an offense by way of noise, of odor or otherwise, <br />or molests other animals or human beinqs, after receivinq notice <br />from the City of the prior commission of such acts by the cat in <br />question. Such cats are declared to be a public nuisance. <br /> <br />SECTION 5-71. CATS: NOTICE. Upon written complaint of a <br />person statina the acts committed by a cat. the name and address of <br />the person owninq or harborinq the cat , and the name and the <br />address of the person makinq the complaint, the City will notify <br />. the person owninq or harborinq the cat of the acts complained of to <br />restrain the cat from committina any more such acts. <br /> <br />SECTION 5-72. CATS ABATEMENT. If a cat constitutes a <br />nuisance under section 5-70, and no owner or responsible part is <br />ascertainable, the City may take whatever action is deemed <br />appropriate to abate the nuisance. <br /> <br /> <br />DIVISION 6. EXOTIC ANIMALS <br /> <br />SECTION 5-73. PURPOSE <br />To protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Arden <br />Hills , it shall be unlawful to keep any wild or exotic animal <br />within the corporate limits of the City of Arden Hills, except as <br />permitted pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 5-74. DEFINITIONS <br />"Wild or exotic animal" shall mean and include any mammal , <br />amphibian, or reptile that is of a species which is wild by nature <br />or of a species which, due to size, yicious nature of other <br />characteristic is danqerous to human beinqs. Examples include but <br />are not limited to: <br /> <br />11l Any larqe cat of the family Felidae, such as lions, tiqers, <br />... laqUarS, leopards, couqars and ocelots, except commonly <br />accepted domesticated house cats. <br />
