She stated <br /> someone should be hired to produce a brochure, and the <br /> Council offer them a budget to print news releases in the <br /> paper's business section. She asked the Planning Members to <br /> make a consensus to present to Council. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski said the Council is presently <br /> putting all their efforts in T.C.A.A.P. and will be holding <br /> a series of meetings open to the residents to discuss <br /> T.C.A.A.P's future. <br /> Chair Winiecki asked if any money had been spent on <br /> promoting the T.C.A.A.P. meetings. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger said there is a mailing going out to all <br /> residents informing them of the series of meetings. <br /> Chair Winiecki stated there is a lack of staff to do the <br /> aggressive things they want in regards to development of the <br /> City. <br />. Councilmember Aplikowski stated the only development areas <br /> being addressed are Round Lake and T.C.A.A.P. <br /> Mr. McGraw stated the whole picture is never looked at. No <br /> one has the time or takes the time. He referred to <br /> Councilmember Probst as having the best idea about <br /> businesses and promoting them. We could use someone like <br /> him who knows these things. Business development should be <br /> done or the City isn't going to keep any benefits. <br /> Chair Winiecki asked if the Planning Commission'S ideas will <br /> be heard at the next meeting. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger replied they probably would be reyiewed in a <br /> future Work Session. Presently, the-City Council and <br /> Robert's Deyelopment are looking for a direct response in <br /> regard to the proposed curb cut. He then asked the <br /> Commission members if they planned to continue to study the <br /> plan or deny it. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski asked to hear a consensus on the <br /> curb cut issue. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger asked to look at the other options ayailable. <br /> He didn't expect a motion to be made at this meeting but <br /> rather a discussion of the yariety of options and issues. <br />. <br />
