Both Dave and <br /> myself have been in contact with the M:>bile Hare Park and Departrrent of <br /> Health about this issue. <br /> To Sl1ll1TIarize Dave's findings I the rrobile hare park did use the <br /> contaminated well for a short period of time. 'Ibis was done under the <br /> premise of an on site erre:rgency and was done with the approval of the <br /> State of MN. Subsequently, the State issued orders to disconnect the <br /> well and cease its use. The State has since closely rronitored the <br /> situation. <br /> . The obvious solution to future problems is having the rrobile hare park <br /> connect with the rrunicipal water system. Discussions with the City <br /> Engineer have provided scme smprising infonnation in that the City has <br /> an eight-inch watennain stub directly adjacent to the property. Staff <br /> has provided this infonnation to the rrobile hare park rranagercent for <br /> consideration . <br /> Staff expects a response fran the rrobile hare park in the near future <br /> which you will be updated with. Dave has also prepared a notice to the <br /> residents of the Park. 'Ibis would serve as the City's response to those <br /> questions raised by area residents over the past several weeks.
