Kriesel, Building Official <br /> SUBJECT: Arden Manor Mobile Home Park; Water Contamination Findings <br /> - <br /> At the February 17, 1994 citizens meeting with the City of Arden Hills and TCAPP. <br /> Several residents questioned the quality of the water service at the Arden Manor Mobile <br /> Home Park and a particular incident in January of 1993. <br /> This questioning led staff to inquire with park management, their attorney and the <br /> Minnesota Health Department about the history of water service within the park, my <br /> . findings are as follows: <br /> There are three (3) wells on the property <br /> Well # 1 is capped and sealed <br /> Well #2 is disconnected but can be reconnected <br /> Well #3 is in use for daily potable water use. <br /> July 10, 1981 Wells # 1 and 2 found contaminated but allowed to remain in use. <br /> 1983 Well #3 installed. <br /> August 16, 1984 Authorization to use Well #2 in case of emergency. . <br /> January 1993 shut down of Well #3 for maintenance and use of Well #2 (incident) <br /> April 27, 1993 Minnesota Health Department orders immediate disconnection of Well #2 <br /> . . . <br /> May 19, 1993 appeal made by Arden Manor Attorney to continue use of Well #2 in cases <br /> of emergency. <br /> July 1, 1993 Minnesota Health Department issues second order to disconnect well #2. <br /> . July 23, 1993 second appeal made by Arden Manor Attorney to continue use of Well #2. <br /> ----------- <br />
