The main parld.ng lot for these 2 separate facilities <br /> is hidden fran traffic on County Road E and Lexington <br /> Avenue. <br /> 2. The variance for this directional sign is not <br /> significant, and it should not prove detrimental to <br /> the vicinity. <br /> 3. Other directional signs along County Road E do exceed <br /> the square footage and height limits. <br /> . 4. Staff could find no precedent for previous variances <br /> being granted for similar requests. <br /> 5. The additional visibility may assist the econanic <br /> feasibility of the retail plaza tenants. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Staff has discussed with the leasing agent and sign carpany the <br /> necessity for combining the leasing signs with the area identification <br /> signs. The p~sed signs do not incorporate this information, rot the <br /> applicant has indicated a willingness to do so. <br /> OPTIONS <br /> The Planning cc:mnission could rrove to undertake one of the following <br /> options: <br /> A. Approve the prop:lsed amendlrent to the site plan including. <br /> 1. A relocated area identification sign, including <br /> leasing information, on Lexington Avenue. <br /> 2. A new area identification sign, including leasing <br /> information, on the corner of County Road E and <br /> Lexington Avenue. <br /> 3. A 3' X 3' directional sign at the County Road E <br /> . entrance. <br />
