J. ~ '- ". <br /> - 1450 W, Hwy 96 <br /> Arden Hills, MN 55112 <br /> Dear Ms, Person: <br /> The Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP) has completed construction of the <br /> groundwater extraction system known as the Site A Removal Action. Operation of tile new <br /> system will begin Thursday, May 19, 1994, (; ~ ~" .-' r <br /> ,^-..iE ,1-r('~ I L r. <br /> . As you know, the purpose of the groundwater extraction system is to prevent <br /> movement of contaminated groundwater off of TCAAP, The extraction system consists of <br /> eight wells which remove contaminated water from the ground and pump the water to a <br /> central control house which allows the water flow and concentrations to be monitored, From <br /> the control house on TCAAP, the water is discharged to a sanitary sewer line, The water <br /> then is discharged into and treated by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission Treatment <br /> Plant in St. Paul, Minnesota, <br /> We wish to thank all the parties that were involved in seeing this project through. <br /> Your participation was greatly appreciated, <br /> Sincerely, <br /> ~~,y <br /> Michael R Fix <br /> Commander's Representative <br /> - <br /> . <br />
