The claims estimates
are based on LMCIT's actual paid claims for the current year,
adjusted by the estimated trend in the cost of dental care. Our
actuaries estimate that the cost of dental care will increase
9.5% over the coming year. Because claims have been somewhat
below projections during the current yeaF and because LMCIT's
administrative costs have increased by a substantially lower
percentage, the premium increase needed is substantially less
than the estimated trend in dental costs.

- OVER -

.

AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY/AI'FlR.\L~TIVE ACTION EMPLOYER
:6121490-5600 [,800-925-1122 plus )'ou:clt)'code 10D'6121490,9033 F..< i 12i 490,00;2
