The new interceptor should be in service on or about September 1, 1994. <br /> SHUCTURA( After the interceptor sewer is constructed, the U.S. Army intends to convey the interceptor <br /> , sewer to the City of Arden Hills who, in turn, will ask the MWCC to acquire the interceptor <br /> SUIIH1NG sewer as a Metropolitan Facility. <br /> ;~MF!C Per our earlier meetings and telephone conversations, the interceptor sewer can be acquired <br /> by the MWCC if it is large enough to meet the 50 year needs of its service area. <br /> ;l~NS?O~rJnc~.; <br /> During a past telephone conversation, you indicated that the following charges to the original <br /> design were necessary to make the interceptor sewer "acquirable": <br /> . Construct an additional manhole on the interceptor sewer at the east right-of-way line <br /> of Interstate 35W. This additional manhole was to be added to make maintenance <br /> easier. <br /> . Increase the pipe diameter of the pipe from the east right-of-way line of Interstate <br /> 35W to the Mounds View receiving manhole (northeast comer of the U.S. Highway <br /> 1326 Energy Perl< Drive lO/Ramsey County Road H intersection) from 18"0 to 24"0. The pipe size was to <br /> Sf, Paul, MN 55108 be increased to provide for the 50-year needs of the interceptor sewer's service area. <br /> 612-6AH389 These changes were incorporated into the original design by addendum. The bid price for <br /> Fox: 612-644-9446 these changes was $20,600,00. At their Council meeting of Apri125, 1994, the Arden Hills <br /> City Council voted unanimously to fund the over-sizing and the additional manhole.
