Employee Insurance Plan: Please see my notes at II.1. a. <br /> 9. The City and Cotmty contract for project management of 'K7\AP: The <br /> City and Cotmty project for the rranagement of locating joint <br /> facilities was identified as a need for coordinating the follow-up <br /> of various pieces of this project, Sarah Janecek is prq:osed to <br /> be the contractor for this project. <br /> 10. Unfinished Business and New Business: <br /> a. Arden Man= owner has requested a stand-by =nnection to <br /> City water. The Health Dept. sees no negative issue. The <br /> owner rray be in attendance of the June 27th Council meeting. <br /> Please see the enclosed merro from Dan regarding the sam:. <br /> Staff has agreed to the owner w::Jrking through this issue at <br /> the June 27th or July 11th meeting in which they will be <br /> dealing with the Planning issue regarding the SUP and the <br /> swirnning pool. <br /> . b. Accounting : Teny has enclosed a merro regarding prepayment <br /> and a =ent status of the receipts received to date fran <br /> the special assessrrent for the 1994 Street Improvement <br /> project. <br /> II. AI:MINISI'RATION : <br /> 1. Employee Insurance: 'I11e enployees have recc::mnended to Council the <br /> 7-1-94 to 6-30-95 health plan as follows: <br /> a. Health Insurance; the question is whether to change <br /> deductibles, to go with the Netw::JD< or stay with the <br /> o=ent Standard plan. Rates are lower for the <br /> Netw::Jrk plan. The enployees reccmrend the Netw::Jrk, <br /> specifically the Select Care plan, which has aa $150 <br /> deductible at premium rates of $145. 74/rronth for <br /> single and $376.30 for family. This is a 10% savings <br /> for health insurance. <br /> b. Dental Insurance: The premium has increased 4% for <br /> dental insurance. This year the plan is intrcducing <br /> an Orthcdantics option, but requires all family dental <br /> enrollees to take part. The employees reccmrend <br /> taking part in orthodontics at additional cost of <br /> . $8.44 for those with family dental. Proposed rates <br /> 2 <br />
