The original intent was to use this building until the <br /> Community Life Center was completed and office space was made <br /> available. Due to budget constraints most of the office space in <br /> the Community Life Center was eliminated. Additionally our <br /> Continuing studies program has grown beyond our projections. <br /> Chalberg Missionary Residence was considered for renovation into an <br /> office complex but increased student enrollment has dictated it <br /> remain as a housing unit. <br /> We have commissioned an extensive Campus Master Plan by the firm of <br /> . Bentz, Thompson, and Reitow of Minneapolis. The results of this <br /> Master Plan will form the basis for future campus development and <br /> building programs. We anticipate short term and long term needs to <br /> be addressed with additional construction projects. In the mean <br /> time, we request an extension of the use of this one temporary <br /> building until October, 1998. <br /> with the above mentioned planning and subsequent construction, as <br /> well as a complete renovation of "Nelson/Kresge Mall" scheduled for <br /> 1998, we do not anticipate requesting additional use of this <br /> facility at this location. <br /> Thank you for your consideration and I wait direction from you as <br /> to any additional information you need to expedite this approval <br /> process. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> C~~ d~tLtQ <br /> craig A.
