Enclosed is Kim's rrerro explaining how she got the dates <br /> for candidate filing. Jerry Filla was asked what the law <br /> required. He called back and said that it appears that the <br /> situation is basically a miscarrnunication on the part of the <br /> State's election staff. As a result of this misccrrmunication, a <br /> misunderstanding occurred about the filing dates but he does not <br /> think that it will adversely affect the City. Should anyone <br /> interested in filing ask about the July dates, it can l:e stated <br /> that it was mistakenly p:lSted for July, but the true date to file <br /> will l:e in late August.
