j}r2-nctc;:--
'"
.
TCAAP-5
Finally, we are working on a cooperative program between the
City and its neighbors to share access to sand, salt, fuel and
perhaps jointly owned equipment.
What ",ill the City's plan cost Arden Hills taxpayers?
Arden Hills will need to fund the City Hall and its share of
the Public Works facility, However, the Arden Hills' portion of
the Public Works site will be less than if the City were to build
its own separate facility.
The net effect of this plan should be positive in that it
. also puts the existing lands--the current City Hall and Public
Works site--back on the tax rolls.
When ",ill final decisions be made?
It is hoped that decisions on the immediate land requests by
Arden Hills, Ramsey County and the National Guard will be
resolved in 1994. The City intends to begin a long-range
planning effort for the entire parcel this spring.
Arden Hills is also actively bringing people together to
gather public input about the use of the lands. A series of
public involvement meetings have been set to provide a forum for
ideas and concerns. The first meeting will take place on Thursday
. (date) at (time) in Room XX of TCAAP building II.
I I I
------
