Planning Ccmnissioners appointrrents - FOllowing the interviews of <br /> Planning Conmissioners' applicants: Gregg Larson, Brent Nelson, and Christine <br /> Larson, the Council appoints Gregg Larson and Brent Nelson. <br /> b. Elections - The proposed Election Judge listing is enclosed for the <br /> September Prirrary and November General Elections. Following your review, <br />. please let me or Kim know if there is any reason someone should not be <br /> appointed as an Arden Hills election judge. The qualifications for being an <br /> election judge is: 1.) being eligible to vote and can read, write and speak <br /> English; 2.) cannot be a candidate or closely related to a candidate in the <br /> election; 3. ) cannot be closely related to another election judge in the <br /> same orecinct. 'Closely related' means a spouse, parent, child, or sibling. <br /> In checking with the Ramsey County Elections Division, closely related judges <br /> can 1hDrk in different precinct. <br /> The staff has successfully 1hDrked very hard this year to increase the number <br /> of judges. The response has been incredibly positive on lx>th retUITl of <br /> veteran and new judges. Thanks to the staff! <br /> c. Approve claims and payroll - If there are questions, please feel free <br /> to call staff. <br /> II.
