City Government <br /> Arden Hills has a Mayor-Council form of government using the optional Plan A, <br /> which provides for the election of a Mayor and four Councilmembers, The City <br /> Administrator is appointed by the City Council. <br /> Council Meetings are held at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. the second and last Mondays <br /> of each month, Persons wishing to present matters to the Council are requested to <br /> call the Administrator's office (633-5676). All meetings are open to the public. <br /> Several Committees are active in Arden Hills: Parks and Recreation; Public <br /> Works and Safety; Finance; Human Rights; and Economic Development. <br /> Committee meetings are held on a regular basis and are open to the public. For <br /> information call City Hall. <br /> Police Protection is provided on a 24 hour basis by the Ramsey County Sheriff <br /> Fire protection is furnished by the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department.
