<br /> City of Arden Hills Chapter 2 Administration <br />. be granted shall be charged against later accumulations of sick leave by the employee. <br /> 240.20 Military Leave. <br /> Subd. 1 Coordination with other Law. Military leaves of absence and reemployment rights <br /> of employees returning from active service with the armed forces shall be subject to <br /> applicable federal and state legislation. <br /> Subd. 2 Reinstatement. Upon return from a military leave of absence, a regular employee <br /> shall be reinstated to the employee's former position or to a position of like status and pay <br />. provided that the employee is competent to perform all duties of the position to which <br /> assigned. <br /> Subd. 3 Like Status. If the position which the employee formerly held no longer exists, the <br /> employee shall be reinstated to a position of like status and pay provided that it is practicable <br /> to do so and that the employee is competent to perform all duties of the position to which <br /> assigned. <br /> Subd. 4 Compensation. Employees eligible to receive military leave compensation while <br /> participating in required training exercises shall be compensated as required by federal and <br /> state regulations. <br />. <br /> 2 - 62 <br />
