Mayor Probst then read <br /> and presented the resolution expressing sincere gratitude and congratulating Andrew St. <br /> Sauver for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and for his dedicated service to the <br /> Community. <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> Ms. Dana Rebelein spoke to the Coundl on behalf of the Ramsey County Charter <br /> Commission. Ms. Rebelein reminded the Coundl and public this November will be the <br /> first opportunity that the public will vote on the proposed amendments to the charter. <br /> Ms. Rebelein indicated the first amendment refers to disposal of park land, this would <br /> be the "No-Net-Loss of Park and Open Space". The other proposed amendment refers <br /> to vacancy in the elected offices of Sheriff or Attorney. - <br /> Ms. Rebelein indicated information is available in pamphlets. Ms. Rebelein answered <br /> questions of the Cound!. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Councilmember Malone inquired as to the length of the contract with TimeSaver Off <br /> Site Secretarial Services. Administrator Person indicated the length of the current <br /> contract would run until the end of 1994 and can then be re-negotiated at that time. <br /> The contract normally runs for a period of 12 months. <br /> MOTION: Hicks moved and Malone seconded a motion to approve the Consent <br /> Calendar as presented, and authorize execution of all necessary documents <br /> contained therein. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Probst invited anyone in the audience that wished to discuss items not on the <br /> agenda to come forward at this time. <br /> - <br />
