<br /> --------------------- --- ---- - ---- <br /> Sheri~~ Contract Group Minutes <br /> October 20, 1994 <br /> We should hear more with regard to the status of the Police . <br /> Hiring Supplement Grant in February. <br /> PLANNING SESSION <br /> Bill Ecklund informed the Group that he is not seeking re- <br /> election as Mayor of North Oaks, and therefore may not be <br /> representing their city with the Contract Group after the <br /> election. The members encouraged him continue with the Group in <br /> a liaison capacity. He explained that he would apply to the <br /> City Council for this appointment after the election. <br /> The Group discussed the concept of hiring two COInJnunity Service <br /> Officers rather than one additional deputy in 1996. Bergeron <br /> agreed that the Group should phase in CSO's, but favored hiring <br /> an additional officer. <br /> Commander Bergeron was asked to put together a survey for the <br /> Deputies and staff to obtain their list of priorities.
