There is a vacancy on the AMM Board effective January 1995. The person selected . to fill this vacancy will serve the balance of the term (five months) and will be eligible for re-election to a full term in May. The AMM Board is responsihle for the overall management of the AMM staff, approval of the annual budget and . ~ work program, annual dues schedule, establishment of yearly legislative policy priorities and appointments to the Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). The Board meets the second Thursday of . each month at 7:00 P.M. To maintain balance on the Board, the official to be selected should be from a . city under 10,000 population. In response to a previous mailing, nominations were received from larger cities but the Board believes strongly that the nominee should come from a smaller city and directed that another bulletin be sent to smaller cities . only. While preference will be given to elected officials, city managers/administrators !lcIT'i'!ees will also ~ considered. . ACTION REQUESTED; This is a request for nominations. The nominations should be in writing, . including a brief resume of the nominee, and should be sent to my attention. Nominations must be received no later than Thursday, January 5, 1995. .
