Cummin~s Park Lease Al!reement - The City has not renewed a Parking 1- <br /> Access Lease Agreement with Control Data Systems since it expired in 1985. -. <br /> This agreement provided parking and access to Cummings Park. This agreement <br /> will only be extended through 12-31-95. It is the intention of staff to resolve this <br /> issue as part of a larger discussion on the long term plans of Control Data, (See I <br /> memo from Parks Director, Cindy S. Walsh dated 3-9-95). <br /> h. Sheehv Land Donation Update- Parks Director, Cindy S. Walsh has provided a I <br /> memo dated 3-9-95 detailing the status of this donation. The Council may wish to <br /> discuss the future designation of this land and direct staff to draft a resolution of - <br /> thanks to the former property owners which will be presented at a future meeting. I <br /> 1. Resolution #95-19 - See 2-17-95 Council Packet for additional information from <br /> LMC and MACT A supporting this resolution, This resolution will support the I <br /> passage of this legislation and will be forwarded to our local Legislators, <br />4. Administrator Comments I <br /> A number of handout items are included for Council review and general information. <br /> a. Op'ren Townhomes <br /> A variety of letters in favor and opposed to mis project are included for Councils I <br /> review. The Public Hearing for March 27th has been sent to residents and me <br /> newspaper for publishing, There was a mistake in one of the hearing notices sent " <br /> to the neighbors. Staff has corrected the error and sent notice of the mistake to <br /> each of the homeowners. <br /> A number of residents have expressed additional anger at me City because it does I <br /> not keep visual or audio tapes of the planning meetings, (To my knowledge me <br /> City has not followed this practice in the past). The City has received a formal I <br /> request under the Government Data Practices Act to review all files and <br /> documentation related to this case. Attorney Filla is reviewing for an appropriate <br /> response. I <br />, <br /> b. Administrative Secretary Position <br /> Shirley Evenson has accepted mis position and will begin work with the City on I <br /> Monday, March 13. Ms. Evenson has had several years experience in a similar <br /> position with the City of Richfield. <br /> c. Community Development Director position I <br /> I have completed interviews for this position. I'm anticipating the need for a I <br /> second round of interviews, I would like to briefly discuss this position with the <br /> Council at the meeting. <br /> d. 3-6-95 Memorandum from Brian Fritsinger I <br /> This memo is included to update the Council on one of the many TIF bills which ~ <br /> have been submitted to the Legislature mis season.
