I OTHER BUSnlESS Temporary parking restrictions were discussed. Uniform sign covers were suggested. Deputies would then be assured of I community approval. II Bergeron submitted information from the MN State Highway Patrol Department (attached) with regard to patrol car seats. Officer back problems were noted. Pro-copper seat pamphlets were distributed. This seating, which is specifically designed for I squad cars, accommodates police equipment, enables quicker and easier ingress and egress, and provides support material that enhances comfort and durability without the use of springs. Cost is $900 per seat, with a 5-year warranty. The seats can be taken I out of one squad car and installed in another car. Bergeron explained that the county currently rebuilds each regular squad car seat about three times, at a material cost of $80 for each I repair. Urban moved to approve the purchase of two Pro-Copper seats, at a cost of $900 each. Short seconded. Ayes all.
