He stated the area has been <br /> I zoned R-1 for approximately 15 years. He is in favor of the proposed development. <br /> Mr. Gene Schmidt 1628 Chatham Avenue, enjoys Arden Hills. He is excited about the <br /> I development. He has reviewed other developments that Mr. Ogren has been involved in and has <br /> heard good reports. <br /> I~ Chair Erickson hearing no further comments supporting the project, inquired as to opposition <br /> to the project. <br /> I Mr. Mark Chapin 3947 Rolling Hills Road, provided the Commission with a letter from two <br /> neighbors and himself regarding the environmental impact of the development. He requested <br /> I delay of the project until an environmental assessment worksheet study could be done. He <br /> indicated the residents are not experts, but would like expert opinion. <br /> I Mr. Chapin indicate he moved to Arden Hills for these amenities. He indicated speaking with <br /> other groups that are interested in the results of environmental studies. <br /> I Mr. Ken Hanzalik 1768 Venus Avenue, with the use of a map, pointed out wetlands that are <br /> existing and wetlands that have been destroyed. He indicated concern for the environmental <br /> impact. <br /> I Mr. Hanzalik inquired as to the location of the trail, would it be between the townhomes. <br /> I Mr. Hanzalik inquired as to how the property was sold, there was no "for sale" sign posted. <br /> Mr. Hanzalik indicated concern for the older oak trees on the site, he did not want them <br /> destroyed. <br /> I <br /> I~ <br /> I <br /> - ------ ------ <br />
