APPLICANT-RAMADA <br /> I Mr. Bergly indicated the Site Plan review is being submitted by the applicant in two phases. <br /> Phase 1 will be for an exterior facelift of the building; Phase 2 will be just for site related issues <br /> and will follow in a month or two. <br /> I Chair Erickson applauded the applicant for the updates. <br /> I Larson inquired as to what would be the site issues in Phase 2. Mr. Bergly indicated landscaping, <br /> parking and other minor issues. Larson was encouraged that landscaping would be addressed. <br /> I Piotrowski moved, and Larson seconded a motion to approve Case #95-6, Site Plan <br /> Review - Ramada (to become Holiday Inn). <br /> I COUNCIL REPORT. <br /> I Councilmember Hicks indicated the Planning Cases that were before the Council at their <br /> February 27, 1995 meeting: <br /> 1- Case #95-2, Chestnut Lot Split/Variance was approved. <br /> Case #95-7, McGuire Variance was approved. <br /> I Councilmember Hicks noted other business that the Planning Commission would be interested <br /> in was the Cottage Villas of Arden Hills is near completion and the ownership has changed <br /> I hands. <br /> Councilmember Hicks indicated a Public Hearing was held regarding improvement to County <br /> I Road F, although many of residents had concerns, the project is necessary. <br /> Councilmemher Hicks noted the TCAAP Proposal was approved and will be sent to four firms, <br /> I this will give the City an opportunity to inform the firms of their needs. <br /> Councilmember Hicks indicated regarding the City's investment with Piper Jaffery, the City <br /> I stayed with Piper Jaffery and now they are offering a settlement that would equal one-half of the <br /> City's loss. He noted if the City stays with Piper Jaffery, there is a possibility the City could <br /> recover all of their losses. <br /> I Mr. Fritsinger indicated the public notice procedure might need to be reviewed.
