DRAFT <br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />I PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> WEDNESDAY MAY 3,1995 <br /> 7:30 P.M. - NEW BRIGHTON CITY HALL <br />I .'.U_ <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br />I Chair Erickson called the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. <br />I ROLL CALL <br />I Present were Chair Steve Erickson, Barbara Piotrowski, Dave Carlson, Brent Nelson, Marty <br /> Rye and Dave Sand. <br />I Absent was Commissioner Gregg Larsen. <br /> Also <br /> present were Councilmember Dale Hicks; Brian Fritsinger, . City <br />I Administrator/Community Planning Coordinator; John Bergly, Planning Consultant; and Ruth <br /> McLaurin, Recording Secretary. <br />I- APPROVE MINUTES <br /> Piotrowski moved, seconded by Sand, to approve the April 5, 1995 minutes. All voted in <br />I favor (6-0). <br /> CASE #95-14 AMEND SUP. AT 1770 WEST COUNTY ROAD E2-APPLICANT -MOUNDS <br />I VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT #621 <br />I Chair Erickson opened the Public Hearing at 7:40 p.m. City Administrator/Planner, confirmed the <br /> publication of the Notice of Hearing in the Focus on Tuesday April 18, 1995. <br />I Planning Consultant Bergly reviewed the request of an Amendment to the Special Use Permit for <br /> Valentine Hills School to allow for significant site plan changes. <br />I Mr. Bergly noted the proposed Site Plan revisions include a major reorientation of access to the <br /> school and redesign of all drives and parking. <br />I Mr. Bergly indicated the various changes to the site using overhead transparencies. <br /> Mr. Bergly indicated the school district currently utilizes several portable, temporary classrooms on <br />I the site. The City previously approved use of these portables through 1995. The school district <br /> would request an extension on the use of these structure for three more years or until July 1, 1998. <br />I- At that time the district has plans to construct permanent classrooms. <br />I <br /> -- <br />
