Assessment Roll fmalized for County <br /> Road F improvements; sidewalks, roadway width, and assessments. Thanked Mr. C.E.Sheehy and Mr. James I <br /> Shacker for their donation to City of wetland area on Ridgewood Road. Approved minor sub-division of <br /> Control Data property. Approved CSM Site Plan Review (for second building) relating to fencing of pond I <br /> area. Approved Catniros, Ltd. as consulting frnn to assist City on TCAAP efforts. Dwayne Stafford is the new Public Works <br /> Superintendent. Both individuals bring strong backgrounds and experience to their new <br /> positions with the city. Welcome aboard. I <br /> Opportunities The city has been fortunate to have dedicated, qualified people serve on its committees. <br /> This is often "where the action is." if you are interested, contact the city about current I <br /> to Participate openings. One of the current needs is for a Planning Commission member to replace <br /> Dave Carlson while he takes a leave of absence from his committee duties. There are <br /> also openings on the Economic Development and Human Rights Committees. This is only l2lll1 of the <br /> District 621 cost of a ten year contract with Honeywell for equipment and services, some of the <br /> purchase guaranteed by savings in energy consumption. The contract is for almost I <br /> SI0,000,000, without any competitive bid activity! Honeywell guarantees almost $400,000 per year will be <br /> recouped through reduced energy costs, but additionally charges about $270,000 a year to maintain the <br /> equipment. The District has committed to reduce operating costs it controls by S5,626,600 over the te . I <br /> years of the contract, and agrees to reallocate these dollars to Honeywell. The District agreed these <br /> "operational costs avoided" exist, that the dollar amount is fair, and that the District is solely responsible for the <br /> I <br /> -------- <br />
