<br />I <br />I. ARQEl'! HILLS CITY COUNCIL - JULY 31 , 1995 13 <br />I Councilmember Keim inquired what the cost of the second lighting would be. Ms. Walsh indicated <br />I it would be approximately $25,000 and the current plan would allow for the addition at a later date. <br /> Ms. Walsh preferred the expenditure go towards the playground facility first. <br />I MOTION: Keim moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to adopt Resolution 95-58, <br /> Accepting Bids and Authorizing Execution of Contract for the Perry Park <br /> Redevelopment with the additions of Alternate 6.0, 7.0 and 7.1 with an estimate cost <br />I of$362,000 and subject to the review and approval of the City Attorney. The motion <br /> carried unanimously (3-0). <br />. Councilmember Aplikowski commended the Parks Department and Parks Committee for all the <br /> hard work and efforts in raising the funds for the redevelopment of the Park and obtaining all the <br /> information the City Council requested. She indicated the Council appreciates these efforts. <br />. Mayor Probst also wished to thank Ms. Walsh and Ms. Ricke for all their efforts, and indicated he <br /> was amazed at the accomplishment of obtaining 50% of the funding from donations. Mayor Probst <br />I thanked the Parks Department and Parks Committee on behalf of the City Council for all their <br /> efforts. <br />.- Stowe Avenue Chan~e Order <br />I City Engineer Stonehouse briefly reviewed the change order request. <br /> MOTION: Aplikowski moved and Keim seconded a motion to approve Change Order #1 for <br />I Stowe Avenue. The motion carried unanimously (3-0). <br /> Construction Undate <br />. County Road F <br />I City Engineer Stonehouse indicated there is continued improvement with the construction on County <br /> Road F and noted the contractor is trying to improve communication with the neighbors. <br />I Mr. Stonehouse noted the contractor will be installing the sanitary sewer extension to Mounds View <br /> High School and should have all underground work completed by Wednesday, August 2, 1995. <br />I Mr. Stonehouse stated the phone company has completed relocations and the gas company is <br /> continuing with the replacement of the 8 inch steel main up to the vicinity of the high school parking <br />I lot. <br />I- <br />I <br />
