ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - J1)L Y 31, 1995 15 <br />I Mayor Probst indicated the company chosen for this project, Midwest Asphalt is a reputable <br />I company, but there is staff from this company that do not understand the protocol of working with <br /> residents and necessary common courtesies. Mayor Probst expressed concern for compliance with <br /> the contract and encouraged Mr. Stonehouse to review the situation. <br />I Mayor Probst also noted he has not been notified of the work on Stowe, which directly affects him. <br /> He did not want the bad example of County Road F reconstruction to continue throughout other City <br />I projects. <br /> TCAAP Update <br />I City Administrator Fritsinger indicated information added to the Council packet. <br />I Mr. Fritsinger indicated there had been an open house held to hear the comments of the public. He <br /> noted some comments were for a 2,400 acre open space. He stated an additional Open House will <br />I be held on August 9, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. He noted a new location is being researched due to the <br /> acoustics at the Army Reserve Facility. <br />I- Mr. Fritsinger indicated the comments will be forwarded to the Task Force and the goal of the Task <br /> Force is to make a recommendation for one specific plan proposal by the end of August. <br />I Mayor Probst added he still believes the meetings are making progress and the City has established <br /> itself clearly. He realizes not everyone will be happy with the eventual decision, but is confident the <br /> majority will be pleased. <br />. Mr. Fritsinger inquired if the Council would object to having an Open House outside the city limits. <br /> Mayor Probst suggested staying within the city limits, perhaps researching the availability of hotels <br />I or corporate facilities. <br />. ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br />I City Administrator Fritsinger reported he met with the Army Reserve to once again discuss the issue <br /> of Retrocession. He is anticipating the receipt of a Memorandum of Understanding within the week. <br />I Mr. Fritsinger also indicated he will be on vacation September 8 through the 14th. <br />I <br />I- <br />I <br />
