Mr. Hjeile indicated the event parking will <br /> be near the sports center and also the Community Life Center. <br /> I Commissioner Larson inquired if Lake Valentine is included in figuring the lot coverage. Mr. <br /> Ringwald indicated Lake Valentine is not included, but the wetlands are. <br /> I Commissioner Sand inquired about handicapped parking. Mr. Ringwald indicated there is no stall <br /> designation on the site plan. Mr. Hjelle indicated the dorms that are near this lot are inaccessible and <br /> I the lerrain is not very accessible. Therefore, there is not a need for accessible parking, although if <br /> the City sees a need to deSIgnate handicap parking the applicant will comply. <br /> I Commissioner Sand inquired if there is adequate handicapped parking near the football field. Mr. <br /> Hjelle indicated there are four designated handicapped spaces. <br /> I Mr. Ringwald noted an additional condition could be added to verify the ADA parking requirements <br /> have been met prior to permit issuance. <br /> I . Corrunissioner Carlson noted when the originally Master Plan was drafted, it was his understanding <br /> that Bethel College was at the enrollment they desired. Mr. Hjelle indicated that would be incorrect, <br /> and the Bethel College is researching the necessity of updating their Master Plan. The goal of <br /> I enrollment is approximately 2,400 stUdents. <br /> I Corrunissioner Carlson questioned the college's intentions for the lot across from the entrance. Mr. <br /> Hjelle indicated there are no current plans or intentions for buildings on that lot. <br /> I Commissioner Rye inquired ,f there were any concerns regarding Rice Creek Walershed <br /> requirements.
