A\lDroval of Minutes <br /> The Council is asked to approve the Minutes of the August 28,1995, <br /> regular Council Meeting. <br /> . b. Consent Calendar <br /> L Resolution #95-63 - The Council is asked to adopt Resolution <br /> . #95-63 which adopts the Truth in Taxation Public Hearing dates for the <br /> proposed 1996 taxes payable. The initial Hearing date is scheduled for <br /> .- November 30, 1995, with the Continuation Hearing scheduled for <br /> December 18,1995. <br /> . 2. ClaimslPavroll - The Council is asked to approve claims in the amount <br /> of $278,366.64 and payroll for the period ended September 1, 1995. The <br /> Council should note the payment to Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire <br /> . Department Benefit Association in the amount of$117,367.00. Note that <br /> the Midwest Asphalt payment number two (Agenda Item 6e) is not <br /> reflected in the above claims total. <br /> . c. Unfinished and New Business <br /> L Ogren Environmental Assessment Worksheet - The Council is asked to <br /> . make a negative declaration on the need for an Environmental Impact <br /> Statement. In other words, what the Council needs to consider is there <br /> . enough information in the EA W to determine whether or not the project <br /> will have significant environmental impact, or more clearly, "Is an EIS <br /> necessary". Mr. Ringwald has included in the packet the EA W, comments <br /> . and responses to the comments received about 1:he EA W. <br /> 2. County Road F Stop Sign - City Engineer Maurer has reviewed the <br /> . matter and given his opinion. His conclusions are that, if average speed <br /> reduction is the only reason to install the stop sign, he would recommend <br /> .- against installation. He also notes that the installation is valid if other <br /> reasons are present. Staff believes other considerations are present and <br /> . <br />
