<br /> . <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - SEPTEMBER I 1. 1995 13 .. <br /> I <br /> Mr. Ringwald noted although the plan was not directly endorsed, he felt the presentation went well. <br /> He indicated the Task Force hopes to present a resolution that will be endorsed at the next meeting I <br /> of the Reutilization Committee. <br /> Mayor Probst commended Mr. Ringwald for his presentation at the Reutilization Committee meeting . <br /> and noted eight of the ten Task Force members were present. <br /> Mayor Probst indicated two plans have been presented, the one from Arden Hills and a plan from I <br /> the Friends of TCr\AP, he felt the plans were very similar. He noted he hopes the Reutilization will <br /> choose a conceptual plan without specifically identifying land use. . <br /> Mayor Probst indicated the last two meetings of the Reutilization Committee will be held on <br /> September 14th and 23rd. I <br /> ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> City Accountant Post presented the administrator comments due to the absence of Mr. Fritsinger. . <br /> Mr. Post indicated at the December 28, 1994 Council Meeting, Council authorized Staff to proceed -. <br /> with at $13,856.82 unbudgeted capital item in the Water Fund, this item consisted of the first phase <br /> of a two phase project. The first phase consisted of replacing the control panels at the booster <br /> Station and Femwood (north) water tower. I <br /> Mr. Post noted Staff indicated that the second phase of the project, including replacement pumps, I <br /> motors and the control panel at the Red Fox (south) water tower would be evaluated in 1995. <br /> Public Works Superintendent, Stafford indicated after working with the Roseville Water Department I <br /> Engineer they have provide the City with information on how to save money using the updated <br /> controls and will now be able to fill the south tower for the first time since it was built. <br /> Mr. Post indicated it is recommended that the Council authorize Connelly Electronics to go ahead I <br /> with the Telemetry portion of Phase II at the price of about $4,400.00 and eliminate plans for <br /> replacing motors, saving <lPproximately $19,000.00 from planned Phase II. I <br /> MOTION: Malone moved, and Hicks seconded a motion to authorize Connelly Electronics to <br /> proceed with The Telemetry portion of Phase II at a price not to exceed $4,400.00. . <br /> The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS I <br />~ Councilmember Malone indicated the trail near the City Hall was not opposed by the nearby . I <br /> townhome development, but rather they could not afford the expense. <br /> . <br />
