Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Spring Lake Park Lions Club Donation Discussion <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A $15,000.00 Spring Lake Park Lions Club <br />For Council Consideration <br />Council should discuss how they would like to use the funds donated by the Spring Lake Park <br />Lions Club. <br />Background <br />The Spring Lake Park Lions Club contacted City Staff about donating funds with the intent of it <br />to be used towards Park improvements. On May 13, 2024, through Resolution 2024-027, the <br />City Council accepted the donation in the amount of $15,000. <br />Since 1986, the SLP Lions Club has been one of Minnesota's Largest Charitable Gambling <br />Organizations, and they run a pull -tab booth in the City. The SLP Lions Club aims to help those <br />in need within the community through various fundraising activities.
