• <br /> Economic Development Committee Meeting Minutes <br /> February 15, 1995 <br /> 8 : 00 a.m. <br /> Army Reserve Center <br /> 1 . The meeting was called to order at 8 : 00 a.m. <br /> 2 . Present were Tom Goblirsch, Steve Freimuth, Mary <br /> Miller, Terry Nagle, City Administrator, Brian <br /> Fritsinger. Absent were Dan McCallum, Arnold Lindberg, <br /> Rob Carlson Jr. and Ray McGraw. <br /> 3 . Monthly Report <br /> Staff provided an update of the past months activities <br /> including Dynamark, Everest, Amoco and TCAAP . The <br /> Committee also discussed recent legislative activities <br /> which may affect the economic development efforts of <br /> the City. <br /> 4 . Marketing Packet <br /> • The Committee reviewed the proposal from the <br /> Nancekivell Group . The Committee was concerned about <br /> the cost of approximately $6000 . Because the <br /> Nancekivell ' s are out of town for several weeks it is <br /> difficult to follow up with questions . <br /> The Committee discussed the probability of other firms <br /> bidding on the work. The Nancekivell ' s proposal was a <br /> higher quality product much different than that being <br /> discussed by the Economic Development Committee . The <br /> Committee indicated for the cost, the Mounds View <br /> approach was adequate for Arden Hills . The key is to <br /> have a document available to provide interested <br /> parties . Terry Nagle will contact Brian with a list of <br /> other firms or individuals who may be able to assist <br /> the City. <br /> 5 . The next meeting is scheduled for March 16 , 1995 . This <br /> meeting may be rescheduled to accommodate better <br /> attendance . <br /> • 6 . Meeting adjourned at 9 : 10 am. <br />
