The objectives if this Business Retention Program are: <br /> • To identify businesses needs (training, financial, legal, expansion, <br /> planning) and subsequently assist in linking these needs to appropriate <br /> resources with the City or elsewhere. <br /> • To keep the City in touch with local businesses. <br /> • To establish communication channels and to build cooperative <br /> relationships between businesses and community resources. <br /> • To gather information which allows the City to "cultivate" the "good <br /> things" about doing business in Arden Hills. <br /> • To help with short-term and long-term planning for business development. <br /> . We have targeted your general location as an area where we would like to spend some <br /> time. A member from the Arden Hills Economic Development Committee, City Council <br /> and myself will be making informal visits to businesses in this area in (date) starting at <br /> (time). We would like to stop in to discuss your business needs and how we might be <br /> able to assist you in meeting those needs. If specific problems and opportunities are <br /> identified at this initial meeting, we are prepared to follow-up at your request.
