ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION—JUNE 24, 2024 9 <br /> Councilmember Rousseau agreed that waiting to discuss in January was a good plan, and she <br /> noted several other tasks that are on the horizon for discussion such as strategic goals, the Master <br /> Parks Plan, Zoning ordinance revisions and the budget. <br /> D. Code of Conduct <br /> This item was postponed to a future meeting. <br /> E. Rice Creek Commons/TCAAP Discussion <br /> This item was postponed to a future meeting. <br /> F. Agenda Planning <br /> City Administrator Perrault provided proposed agendas for upcoming meetings as noted below. <br /> Due dates have not been added to the below items but will be as the process evolves. <br /> July 8th Worksession <br /> • Compensation Study Update(time sensitive—August 2024) <br /> • Great River Greening Update (not time sensitive) <br /> • Tobacco License Moratorium (time sensitive—November 2024) <br /> • RCC/TCAAP Discussion(not time sensitive) <br /> • Agenda Planning (time sensitive) <br /> July 22nd Worksession <br /> • Capital Budget Planning (time sensitive) <br /> • Capital Funding Update (time sensitive) <br /> • Encroachment Update (not time sensitive) <br /> • RCC/TCAAP Discussion(not time sensitive) <br /> • Agenda Planning (time sensitive) <br /> Mayor Grant explained a suggestion that was made to him regarding the City having a free day <br /> or weekend in which residents can give something away, similar to the"buy nothing" groups. <br /> City Administrator Perrault noted the recycling RFP includes scenarios for two alternate bids, <br /> one would include hosting a Clean Up Day similar to what the City used to do but would be run <br /> by the carrier and a second to include a curbside bulk pickup service free to residents on a certain <br /> date to be decided upon by the Council, though he cautioned this second option could be <br /> expensive for the City. <br /> A short discussion ensued regarding these two options. <br /> Councilmember Monson noted she had asked to discuss the chicken ordinance and fire fighter <br /> recognition. <br /> Councilmember Rousseau stated it was discussed having Representative Moller or Senator <br /> Marty present to speak at a Council meeting. <br />
