<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - SEPTEMBER 25, 2006 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Pellegrin seconded a motion to <br />approve the Consent Calendar and to authorize execution of all necessary <br />documents contained therein, The motion carried unanimously (4-0), <br /> <br />4. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />None, <br /> <br />S. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />Mounds View School District Board Member Noreen Thompson presented information <br />regarding the proposed levy referendum, <br /> <br />Denise Fleming, Neighbors United for Mounds View School District Schools stated they <br />were an advocacy group working on behalf of the levy referendum. She asked Council to <br />consider passing a Resolution endorsing the levy referendum, <br /> <br />Nicholas Kraus, Boy Scout Troop 200, stated he was in the audience to listen to the City <br />CounciL He indicated he was working on his Citizenship in the Community Badge, Mayor <br />Aplikowski thanked him for being in attendance, <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Motion to Approve Qrdinance No. 380 Amendin!!: Chapter 4 "Animals and Pets" of <br />the Arden Hills City Code <br /> <br />Mr, Johnson stated due to recent litigation that the City was involved in, City staff has been <br />preparing a revised animal control ordinance for the City, The proposed ordinance would amend <br />Section 400 of the Arden Hills City Code "Dangerous Dogs", He recommended Council <br />approve the Ordinance, <br /> <br />Counci\member Holden stated she wanted to make sure they address the invisible fencing, She <br />asked if they would require the dog owner to maintain the invisible fence system, Mr. Filla <br />responded the dog owner had one chance and if the dog broke free from the invisible fencing, <br />they would need to contain the dog another way, <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Pellegrin seconded a <br />motion to approve Ordinance No, 380, amending Chapter 4 "Animals and <br />Pets" of the Arden Hills City Code, The motion carried unanimously (4- <br />0), <br />
