PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL Mounds View School District Board Member Noreen Thompson presented information regarding the proposed levy referendum, Denise Fleming, Neighbors United for Mounds View School District Schools stated they were an advocacy group working on behalf of the levy referendum. She asked Council to consider passing a Resolution endorsing the levy referendum, Nicholas Kraus, Boy Scout Troop 200, stated he was in the audience to listen to the City CounciL He indicated he was working on his Citizenship in the Community Badge, Mayor Aplikowski thanked him for being in attendance, 6. Motion to Approve Qrdinance No. 380 Amendin!!: Chapter 4 "Animals and Pets" of the Arden Hills City Code Mr, Johnson stated due to recent litigation that the City was involved in, City staff has been preparing a revised animal control ordinance for the City, The proposed ordinance would amend Section 400 of the Arden Hills City Code "Dangerous Dogs", He recommended Council approve the Ordinance, Counci\member Holden stated she wanted to make sure they address the invisible fencing, She asked if they would require the dog owner to maintain the invisible fence system, Mr. Filla responded the dog owner had one chance and if the dog broke free from the invisible fencing, they would need to contain the dog another way, MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Pellegrin seconded a motion to approve Ordinance No, 380, amending Chapter 4 "Animals and Pets" of the Arden Hills City Code, The motion carried unanimously (4- 0),
