He also read two ohecks received fl:oom the State Treasurer as follows: For liqu.or tax apportionment,48l1' per capita, Jan.-June, 19.51, $43~.68; and for oigarette tax apportionment, 4.5l1' per capita. for ihe same period, $412.20. He also his Financial Statement for August showing total receipts for the month $34l~.82. expenditures $96.03 ezolusive of olaims Nos. 27 and 43. leaving a balance of $4.54~.74. including July 30 balance of $1225.~.5; total reoeipE for the year &mOtUlt to $.5,343.46, total expenditures excluding claims 27 '" 43, $7~3.72. He also reported that the 1951 tax levy hae to be certified to the County Joudi tor by October lOth, and tlat the Finam e Committee will meet probably the week before the next re€l4lar council meeting to oonsider the budget; all standing cammi. ttee ohairmen were asked to submit iheir departmental requirements for 1952 before that committee meeting. . Mr. Donald O.
