�-`iVEN HILLS <br />Approved: July 22, 2024 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION WITH CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />JUNE 17, 2024 <br />5:30 P.M. — MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mounds View Mayor Lindstrom called to order <br />the Special Joint Work Session at 5:30 p.m. <br />Present: Arden Hills Mayor David Grant (virtually); Mounds View Mayor Zach <br />Lindstrom, Arden Hills Councilmembers Tom Fabel, Tena Monson, and <br />Emily Rousseau, Mounds View Councilmembers Gary Meelhause, Julie <br />Clark, and Theresa Cermark <br />Absent: Arden Hills Councilmember Brenda Holden and Mound View <br />Councilmember Sherry Gunn <br />Also present: Arden Hills City Administrator Dave Perrault; Mounds View City <br />Administrator Nyle Zikmund, Arden Hills Recreation Supervisor Matt Johnson, Mounds <br />View Assistant City Administrator Brian Beeman, Mounds View Public Works Director <br />Don Peterson, Mounds View School District Superintendent Chris Lennox, Mounds View <br />School District Director of Community Education Karl Brown, Mounds View Recreation <br />Superintendent Andy Thomas, Shawn O'Keefe and James O'Keefe (Minnesota <br />Tournament and Wellness Center), Ramsey County Commissioner Nicole Frethem <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br />1A. Introductions/Roll Call <br />A roll call for members was conducted. <br />1B. Joint Park and Recreation <br />Staff from Arden Hills and Mounds View gave an overview of programs and options that the <br />cities are currently collaborating on and opportunities for collaboration in the future. <br />Mounds View School District Community Education Director Brown noted the programming <br />discussed aligns well with the school district programming, and he believed they are not <br />duplicating efforts or having competing programming. <br />
