ELEGANT
E V E N T C E N T E R
The adult day care will share the same space as the event hall on designated days of the week. We anticipate the Day
care program would serve a maximum of 20 people weekly. The Caf6 will play a key role in this phase by providing
hot, fresh lunches to our day care members. The Adult Day Care program will offer activities such as educational
programs, arts and crafts, supervised field trips, board games, and group fitness exercise sessions. Drawings and
plans are included with architectural work.
Based on the occupancy load calculated by Vanney and Associates, we have determined the total occupancy of the
property to be 567. We are also in communication with both the fire marshal and building officials and will partner
with them/follow their recommendations to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Elegant Events intends to cap its capacity to 508 people broken down as follows:
I) Maximum event guest capacity would be capped at 450:
The following strategies would be put in place to ensure the event hall does not exceed its maximum seating
capacity of 450:
Contracts with the event host will be specific about guest capacity. EEC would not accommodate any events whose
capacity would require more than 450 people.
All marketing materials, contractual agreements and operations will reflect this capacity of 450.
Emergency Exits and Safety: EEC will Ensure all exits are clearly marked and accessible, and that all safety
protocols are communicated to guests and staff. The building has an automatic fire sprinkler system throughout.
Exiting Doors provided (6) 36" Existing Exit Doors.
Training: Regular training of staff that will include operational capacity, reservation system, fire plans, etc.
Signage: Appropriate and clear signage calling out capacity limits for both staff and guests will be visible
throughout the property.
Security Personnel: security staff will be onsite for events and trained on crowd control.
II) Restaurant is capped at 34 patrons:
The following strategies would be put in place to ensure the restaurant does not exceed its maximum seating
capacity of 34:
Reservation System: Implement a reservation system to control the flow of guests. Use an online booking platform
that allows you to manage and limit the number of reservations. Ensure walk-in guests are only seated if there are
available seats within the capacity limit.
Table and seating layout: Arrangements will only be created to accommodate 34 seats.
Real -Time Tracking: Use a seating management system to track the number of occupied and available seats in real
time. Train staff to update the system as guests are seated and when they leave.
Guest Communication: Communicate with guests through our website, reservation confirmation emails, and at the
point of entry about the seating capacity and any potential wait times.
III) We estimate a total staff team of 24 people for both Events and restaurant
