The village clerk being absent, acting-mayor <br /> McClung appointed Shirley D. Ludlow as temporary clerk for the <br /> meeting. <br /> . Roll Call:Present - Mack, DeLanGe, McClung <br /> Absent - Doepner and Cummings <br /> Minutes: The minutes of the November 24th meeting were <br /> read by temporary clerk, Ludlow. DeLange moved and McClung <br /> seconded a motion that the minutes be accepted as read. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 'i'he minutes of the Special Meeting of December 4, 1952 were <br /> read by temporary clerk Ludlow. Mack moved that the minutes be <br /> accepted as read. The motion was seconded by Delange. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Shirley D. Ludlow was sworn in as village clerk, term of <br /> office beginning January 1, 1953 by councilman, Mack. <br /> J. W. Wasielewski as constable, otto Graffunder as justice <br /> of the peace and B. J. DeLange as trustee were sworn in by <br /> Vincent Courtney, village attorney --- terms of office beginning <br /> January 1, 1953. <br /> Petitions: Constable Wasielewski reported on the old Walker <br /> home across from the Lakeview Terrace. 1tts.Leon Sabine attested <br /> to its being an eyesore to the community. <br /> The council decided that if any action is to be taken, a <br /> petition should first be drawn up and presented at a council <br /> meeting by those living in the area. <br /> Constable Salitros reported on considerable dumping of re- <br /> fuse within the village limits. Any suggestions for remedying <br /> the situation should be turned over to the Public Welfare <br /> Committee. <br /> Constable Wasielewski asked if he and Constable Salitros <br /> would be paid for election service.
