<br />115 <br /> <br />ruNUTES OF REGOLPill MEETING <br /> <br />COU]\!CIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Monday, April 27, 1953 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:05 P.M. by Mayor Cummings, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Roll Call: All Council members present. There being a quorum <br />present, the Council proceeded ','i th transactions of business as <br />follows: - <br /> <br />The minutes of the council meeting of Monday, March 30, 1953 <br />were read by the clerk. Hack moved and DeLange seconded a motion <br />the minutes be approved as read - carried. <br /> <br />11r. C. J. Klidon appeared before the council to request pe~miss- <br />ion to keep a house trailer on his property. Permission had <br />been granted until May 1,1953 and an extension of time was <br />necessary accorcliuf, to Mr. Klidon. 'Mack mode'[l motion that the <br />time limit be extended 60 days. Mr, Courtney, Village Attorney, <br />gave his opinion that 90 days notice would be required to <br />evict the tenants now occupying the trailer. Mack amended his <br />motion to 90days, at the end of which time the trailer is to be <br />removed from the village. McClung seconded the motion - carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Milner W. Carley submitted the preliminary platt of the <br />Ingerson property on the North Shore of Lake Josephine. Mack <br />moved the preliminary plat be accepted as presented. DeLange <br />seconded the motion - carried. <br /> <br />The Justice of the Peace, otto Graffunder submitted his report <br />for the month of April. <br /> <br />The ordinance on possession of malt liquors by minors was read <br />by the clerk. Mack moved the suspension of the second reading <br />of the ordinance and the acceptance of the ordinance by the <br />council as read. DeLange seconded - carried <br /> <br />Claims #261 - #269 inclusive were read by the clerk. Mack moved <br />and DeLange seconded a motion that the claims be approved - <br />carried. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Reports of Standing Committees: <br /> <br />Finance - No report. <br /> <br />Public Safety - Police Officer Salitros submitted police reports <br />as used by Mounds View and New Brighton and requested that some <br />be printed for the Village of Arden Hills. McClung moved and Mack <br />seconded a motion that Officer Salitros be authorized to have <br />
