<br />116 <br /> <br />Page #2 <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Council of the Village of <br />Arden Hills, Minnesota, Monday, April 27, 1953. <br /> <br />1000 each of the 5 reports printed - carried. <br /> <br />Chairman McClung is to look into the matter of a curfew for the <br />village. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Justice of the Peace ~raffunder requested a new permanent docket. <br />DeLange moved and Mack seconded a motion that Mr. Graffunder be <br />authorized to purchase one. <br /> <br />Public Works - Chairman DeLange reported that the Village had <br />gone over its County road allotment. At the last committee <br />meeting the specifications on stabilization were dra~~ up. Oil- <br />ing is not included. <br /> <br />The servicing amendment to the ordinance on'the platting of <br />property was read. <br /> <br />Mack moved and DeLange seconded a motion that the load limit <br />siens be removed as of April 27, 1953 - carried. <br /> <br />AdditionJgrading is necessary on Arden Place and Glenarden Road. <br />Mack moved and DeLange seconded a motion that }~ilner Carley be <br />employed by the village as surveyor on the job - carried. <br /> <br />Ludlow moved anet McClung seconded a motion that amendment 5 (n) <br />be accepted and incorporated into the ordinance relating to the <br />platting of property as it is to be published - carried. <br /> <br />Considerable patching work needs to be done on the roads. Mc- <br />Clung moved and Ludlow seconded a motion that Ch.DeLange be <br />authorized to have the County make the necessary repairs -carried. <br /> <br />McClung moved and Mack seconded a motion that Ch. DeLange be <br />authorized to do grading and shaping on Arden Place and Glen- <br />arden Road according to specifications as prepared by the village <br />engineer for the project - carried. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mc Clung moved and DeLange seconded a motion that the Road Commiss- <br />ioner call for bids for oiling the roads (by the gal.) in a <br />published notice. The Comm. is to prepare specifications for the <br />dust coating, the Village Attorney is to prepare bid forms and <br />the Clerk is to advertise for bids. The motion carried. <br /> <br />Public Welfare - no report. <br /> <br />The license application of C.A. Puett was read by the clerk. <br />Mack moved and DeLange seconded a motion the licenses be granted <br />subject to revocation - carried. <br />
