This information will be shared with the City Council as part <br />of the upcoming 2025 budget discussions. <br />Background <br />The Economic Development Authority (EDA), comprised of the five members of the City Council, <br />has been reviewing conceptual plans for the installation of additional City of Arden Hills gateways <br />signs for a number of years. There are three gateways signs that have already been installed in the <br />City. <br />Existing Gateway Sims <br />After those were installed, the EDA initially identified six potential locations for gateway signs <br />with Highway 96 and Lexington Avenue being identified as the priority location. A conceptual <br />design and cost analysis was prepared by WSB for this location (Attachment E). In 2022, the EDA <br />added to the list a seventh potential location at Lake Valentine Road at 35W. During this <br />discussion, the EDA requested feedback from the EDC on the proposed gateway sign locations <br />and possible design. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
