Phase 2: Will begin immediately after Phase 1 and involves opening up the Café area, obtaining
a liquor license to enhance the dining experience and complement event catering. The café will
continue to operate within its current square footage, maintaining a seating capacity of 34. It will
remain open for as long as the event space is in use, providing food and beverages to event
attendees. Drawings and plans are included with architectural work.
Phase 3: Set for August 2025, aiming to build a sustainable business model that takes advantage
of the space during other days/times for an adult day care program. This initiative addresses
community needs while ensuring financial stability. We are currently collaborating with the
Minnesota Department of Human Services to modify our existing Home and Community-Based
Services license. Once these adjustments are completed, operations will commence. The adult
day care will share the same space as the event hall on designated days of the week. We
anticipate the Day care program would serve a maximum of 20 people weekly. The Café will
play a key role in this phase by providing hot, fresh lunches to our day care members. The Adult
Day Care program will offer activities such as educational programs, arts and crafts, supervised
field trips, board games, and group fitness exercise sessions. Drawings and plans are included
with architectural work.
Operating Hours
Operating hours are tailored to suit community needs, ranging from 8 am to 11:59 pm Monday
through Thursday, and 8 am to 3 am on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with liquor service
ending at 2 am.
For Adult Day Programs: 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday.
Benefits to the Community
Economic Growth
• Job Creation: The project will create employment opportunities, including event staff,
kitchen staff, servers, and administrative positions.
• Local Spending: By sourcing supplies and services locally, the venue will support other
businesses in the community.
• Increased Tourism: Hosting events and attracting visitors from outside the area can
boost tourism and bring additional revenue to local businesses.
Community Engagement
• Social Hub: The venue can become a central gathering place for various community
events, fostering social connections and a sense of belonging.
