<br />4 <br /> <br />• Cultural Exchange: Hosting a diverse range of events such as weddings, cultural <br />celebrations, and corporate functions can promote cultural exchange and understanding <br />within the community. <br />Support for Local Businesses <br />• Vendor Partnerships: Collaborating with local vendors for catering, floral <br />arrangements, and event planning services will support small businesses and <br />entrepreneurs in the area. <br />• Networking Opportunities: Events hosted at the venue can facilitate networking among <br />local businesses and professionals, leading to potential partnerships and collaborations. <br />Enhanced Quality of Life <br />• Access to Event Spaces: Providing a venue for weddings, parties, and community events <br />offers residents a convenient and attractive option for celebrating special occasions. <br />• Recreational Activities: The addition of a restaurant and potentially an adult day care <br />program offers residents additional amenities and services that contribute to their overall <br />quality of life. <br />Revenue Generation for the City <br />• Tax Revenue: The project will generate tax revenue for the city through property taxes, <br />sales taxes, and potentially liquor license fees. <br />• Property Value Increase: A successful and thriving event venue can contribute to the <br />attractiveness and desirability of the neighborhood, potentially leading to an increase in <br />property values. <br />Parking, Security Measures, and Noise Control <br />Parking <br />As mentioned above, the center is designed to accommodate up to 464 attendees. Parking needs <br />are adequately addressed with 145 spaces available on-site. Additionally, agreements are being <br />made with neighboring businesses particularly The Presbyterian Church of the way located <br />Minutes from the venue to utilize their parking facilities on an as-needed basis. <br />We are presenting a proposal for establishing parking requirements for the new and future event <br />centers in Arden Hills. As this will be the first event center in our city, there are no existing <br />guidelines in the city code specifically addressing parking requirements for such a venue. <br />Drawing on the standards set by neighboring cities and considering the practical needs of our <br />facility, we propose that the parking requirement for the event center be set at one car per three <br />seats. <br />Comparative Research from Neighboring Cities:
