C. StieILla'aus, 4535 Hy. <br />~ Round Lake Improvement Assoc. <br /> <br />10 presented the Council with a letter from the <br /> <br />regarding the New Brighton dump. Hayor Ashbach <br /> <br />stated he would investiga,te the lllI'.tter. <br /> <br />Hr. Jack Grudnoske ',resented a petition requesting rezoning of his ;oroperty Et <br /> <br />Highway 96 and Hamline Ave. from farm residence to commercial. Hr. Courtney <br /> <br />informed Mr. Grudnoske his petition must include all surrounding Ilmd O"'!l.ers <br /> <br />within 500 ft., and also that he have a Certificate of AJlparent umd O~;ners <br /> <br />attached to the petition. <br /> <br />Mr. Wm. Bannister reported on the sewerage survey being conducted for Roseville <br /> <br />and of the pessibility of a hook-up of )~den Hills and Roseville at some <br /> <br />future dete. Hr. Bannister stated the 8,pproxime"te" cost to .Arden Hills for a <br /> <br /> <br />survey by the BelL"l.ister Company "!QuId be $4,000.00. The survey would include <br /> <br />[", topography study, suggested division of cost \!ith other villages on Sf>..:ne sewer <br /> <br />system, and complete reports and recommendHtions of how a sewer system could be <br /> <br />furnished to Arden Hills most economica12y. <br /> <br />~~. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Committee : Mrs. Stromquist reported that a meeting of the Finance <br /> <br />Committee wa"s held I~~ 5, 1955 ,'lith all members present. Mr. l~orth Read will <br /> <br />conduct a survey of the vill~e insurance policies as to limits and extent of <br /> <br />cover~~es. Mrs. Stromquist will set up an inventory of village property and <br /> <br />equipment with a system of control and check out. '~s.
