195 Mr. DeLange seconded the motion the clerk be authorized to purchase a filing cabinet. Motion passed. Mr. Read advised the Council to transfer the villaee funds to 1st Nat. Bank of St. Paul and deposit $5000.00 in bonds. This Betion had prior approval of the Council. . The Fin. Committee recommended that 10% of the Elec. Inspector's fees be deducted by the village to cover the cost of supplies and office work required. Dr. Hoyt moved ar.dMrs. Stromquist seconded the motion tl18t We accept 10% of Mr. Salverda's fees. ~lotion was passed. The Fin. Q)mmittee recommende for Council consideration that when Council members make their requests for the 1956 budget. that each officer submit a detailed list of budget requirements with supporting details. to aid the Fin. Committee in making up the new budget. The Fin Committee also suggested thet in future Council give consideration to getting reimbursement from the benefactors for services rendered. Public Safety Committee: No report. Public Works Committee: ~lr. DeLange reported that his committee. conducted a survey of street safety. stop signs etc. of all village streets. ~lr. DeLange , Res ordered some new street signs to be put in by the County. There .ms a request from the residents of Serv-ice Drive to change the IlI'.me of the street to LeL~eshore Place..
