Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 2024 PMP — Ramsey County Cooperative Agreement for Pond Dredging <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$27,139.20 $27,139.20 Ramsey County <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />Agreement PW2023-22, Ramsey County Cooperative and Maintenance Agreement <br />with The City of Arden Hills for Hamline Avenue at Colleen Avenue Stormwater <br />Pond 2 related to the 2024 PMP Street and Utility Improvement project. <br />Backaround/Discussion <br />City staff has been coordinating with Ramsey County regarding the cost -share of pond dredging <br />work related to the 2024 PMP Street & Utility Improvement project. As both entities have <br />contributing drainage that enter what is being labeled "Pond 2", a Cooperative and Maintenance <br />Agreement (Attachment A) is necessary to split the costs of the dredging work. Pond 2 is located <br />within the project area near the intersection of Colleen Avenue and Hamline Avenue North. City <br />staff recommends City Council approve Agreement PW2023-22. <br />Budget Impact <br />The City and County will split the as -bid $54,278.40 cost of the dredging at Pond 2, 50150. If <br />there are change orders related to this work, the cost will still be split 50150. <br />Page l of 2 <br />
