<br />226 <br /> <br />Mr. Donald Stecker. 1419 Arden Place requested that the Village Council <br />present the question of iSSU8~e of liquor licenses in village to the residents. <br />He requested to go on record as an applicant for a liquor license if 8JJ:T are <br />to be issued. Mr. Courlmq. Village Attorney was requested to look into the <br />legal procedure required for Council to take action. <br /> <br />Dr. Hoyt reported a meeting held with Mr. Courtney, Mr. Sexton. and Mr. Jones <br />regll~rding the zonir~ ordinance. Mr. Jones is drawing up the ordinance for <br />~ presentation to Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Ashbach reported tibat Mr. ChaJldler. Supervisor of Mounds View Township <br />Town Board lDaT open negotiation with Arden Hills concerning the village hall. <br /> <br />The mayor reported that aJl informal meeting was held with Mr. Peter Popovi teh <br />regarding a sewer hook-up with Roeevil1e. Mr. Popovitch felt that Arden <br />Hills is a borderline case as to whether we whould go ahead with sewer plans <br />now. or to wait for population growth. <br /> <br />~or Ashba.ch stated that a Park and Recreation Comm1 ttee is to be set up. <br /> <br />Council granted permission to Mr. John Arthur to park a trailer by the Hillside <br />Tavern until ~ 10. 1956. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stromquist was authorized by Council to order forms necessary for <br />licenses. permits and bonds under our present building code. <br /> <br />The meeting was adJourned at 10:15 P.].!. <br /> <br />~~. u.....t.J.r._d <br />ROBERT O.
