' / <br /> <br />kUELIC SAF'ETY COMIHTTEE :No report. <br /> <br />PUBLIC Vf~LFARE COV~ITTEE: Dr. Hoyt reported that the Arden Rills Zoning <br />Ordinance and ~~p are almost ready for publication, and that copies of <br />the map are available from Mr. Jones. Stromquist moved and DeLange <br />seconded the motion that 300 copies of the Zoning 8ndinance and attached <br />map be ordered. Motimn passed. <br /> <br />CLERK'S REPORT: The Clerk read a letter from the Village Attorney stating <br />that due to the petition presented, it will be required that the Council <br />~ut the liquor question to a vote at the next village election. Mr. <br />~Lange moved and Mrs. Stromquist seconded the motion that a special <br />nallot be prepared for the question of liquor to be put in a separate <br />bsllot box at the annual village election in December. Motion passed. <br />Mr. McClung abstained from voting. <br /> <br />After Council discussion, and approval by the Village Attorney, Stromquist <br />moved and DeLange seconded the motion that a counting board equal in <br />number to the regular election board be nppointed to take ~harge of the <br />ballot counting at the November 6 General Election. Motion passed. The <br />election board and counting board are to be appointed at the next meeting. <br /> <br />After reading the ammendment to the Dog Ordinance, McClung moved and <br />Stromquist seconded the motion approving passage of the ammendment to <br />Ordinance #11. Motion passed. Clerk was requested to have the ammend- <br />ment published in the Rose Tribune. <br /> <br />Mr. Salitros requested that a 30 <br />Avenue, and a Slow-Children sign <br />~w.
